Hamish joined the Agribusiness and Property Team in August 2024 after a previous role as a general practice solicitor in Oamaru and then spending a short time as an HT driver in the logging industry in and around Dunedin.
Hamish grew up on a sheep and cropping farm in North Otago and completed his legal studies at the University of Canterbury in 2020, graduating with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce. He is looking forward to using his first-hand knowledge of the farming industry to engage with and understand clients’ needs and assisting them to achieve their goals. He also enjoys the varied scope of work that comes with working in a busy and high performing agribusiness and property team
Outside of work Hamish enjoys spending time with his partner and their pets as well as mountain biking and heading up to Shag Point to do some spearfishing when the weather allows.
