Originally from a small town north of Dunedin, Edan joined the Agribusiness and Property Team in 2025 after previously working at a law firm in Central Otago. Edan completed his legal studies at the University of Otago graduating with a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and Bachelor of Arts majoring in Psychology and minoring in German. 

Edan enjoys the diverse challenges and scope of work Agribusiness provides from large scale commercial projects to residential conveyancing and resolving issues with easements. He strives to provide pragmatic and practical legal advice and always keeps the individual needs of the client at the forefront of any advice. 

Outside of work Edan spends his time with his partner and their dog and enjoys mountain biking, skiing, and tinkering on an old Morris Minor.
