At the end of the year we are moving into new premises at 123 Vogel Street. It’s a beautiful R.A. Lawson building, dating from 1889, originally used as a grain store for Reid, McLean & Co. We’re excited about the move and are keeping a close eye on the renovations currently underway. This blog has been set up primarily for us to share progress on the building and our fitout over the coming months. We’ll also take the chance now and then to comment on other things going on in our communities.
Nice to see the view from the south end of the building, across the atrium to the north end. This is where reception area seating will be.
Also good to see the deck framing taking shape and a nice stack of reclaimed timber (from the atrium) waiting to go down.
The permanent bridge is on the way in, and the first of the office pods framed up.
A couple of big steps on the new building. The scaffolding is down on Jetty Street and the whole building is now painted in its new colours - and looks very smart!
The north end of the building - our working hub - is pretty much ready to go with our fitout. This week a lot of timber will be ferried in. Watch this space!
