Wade Pearson

Senior Solicitor

Wade advises clients on a range of commercial matters, including capital raising & finance, business/property sales, commercial/IT contracts, and corporate structuring. Wade grew up in Dunedin and likes to help local and national businesses and charities meet their goals.

Wade enjoys working with clients in a clear, practical manner, and focuses on understanding the key drivers of his clients’ businesses. “Empathy is the key for me – I work to really understand my clients and their issues, so I can help them get what they need” he says.

Before joining Gallaway Cook Allan in April 2018, Wade worked at MinterEllisonRuddWatts in Wellington, where he worked with a wide range of clients – especially in the technology and start-up sectors. Wade has also spent time within organisations that help SMEs and other businesses to grow and succeed internationally.

Wade graduated from the University of Otago in 2013 with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts (Language and Linguistics). He was admitted to the bar in 2014.

Away from work, Wade enjoys spending time with his family and relaxing with a good book (or board game), while also keeping fit with some social netball.
