Renee began her career in Christchurch becoming an Associate in 2017. She brings with her a wealth of knowledge including dealing with issues relating to Earthquake and Private Claims.

She enjoys working on all aspects of Property Law right from assisting the first home buyer through to experienced developers. A significant part of her practice also has been to deal with Relationship Property matters. Renee has dealt with several matrimonial disputes which include a significant asset base, complex Trusts and company structures, as well as overseas assets.

Having worked six years as a private client practitioner, reviewing and advising on asset planning structures is to Renee just part good practise. “Everyone needs a legal check-up from time to time to make sure the vicissitudes of life are accounted for” she says.

Ultimately, it is essential to Renee that the client knows she is working with them to achieve their goals, and she will care for your matter as much as you do.

One thing Renee finds very attractive about the Gallaway Cook Allan vision is looking at the law through the client’s eyes. Renee strives to find better and more efficient ways to provide legal services that keeps up with today’s evolving professional environment.

Having just moved into the Wanaka area Renee is looking forward to seeking out the gorgeous day walks and short hikes that Central Otago offers with her family and Samoyed, Pax, so be sure to tell her your favourite tracks.
