Rachel Riddle joined us in May 2019 and will be focussing on relationship property matters, ranging from documenting contractual arrangements between a couple to disentangling complex family property structures on separation, and achieving division of assets when matters are in dispute. She has experience with wider family property matters including trusts and estate disputes, as well as significant commercial and property transactional experience.
Rachel has a commercial and property background, starting her career with a specialist commercial property firm in Wellington. These skills enable her to act with a high level of commercial awareness when dealing with clients’ complex asset structures and relationship property divisions. Her approach is thorough but client focussed, recognising the huge benefits of upfront and responsive advice when dealing with often personal and highly sensitive matters. Rachel’s goal is to be facilitative and genuinely add value to her clients’ experience of navigating the challenging issues that arise on separation. To achieve this, she believes it is essential to think practically, communicate directly and act quickly.
Rachel recently relocated to Dunedin with her young family and is enjoying re-discovering the region, having grown up in Southland and studied at the University of Otago.
